KATARSIS explores the intricate relationship between psychology and art, asserting that understanding an artwork begins not with basic aesthetics, but with the raw interplay of emotion and imagination. Central to this perspective is the concept of catharsis, popularized by Sigmund Freud—where the creation of art serves as a therapeutic release for suppressed anxiety, inner turmoil, and personal conflict.

By analyzing the artists and their creations through a cathartic lens, the exhibition seeks to uncover the hidden emotional layers and psychological struggles manifested within the physical forms of the artworks. It confronts viewers with contradictory feelings and short-circuiting imaginations, inviting them to discern whether the artists' intimate emotions are intensely amplified or subtly softened through the imaginative process.
