REDBASE Art is the leading Asian contemporary art gallery in Sydney, Australia. REDBASE is a cross-cultural site that envisions the changing ideas about Asian contemporary art in Australia, with a focus on Chinese, Indonesian, and Asian-Australian artists.

REDBASE Yogyakarta Foundation is the organisation’s non-profit initiative in Indonesia. Established in 2014, the Foundation supports local and international contemporary art through residencies, exhibitions, education programs, and cultural exchange.

Nancy Nan is the founder and director of REDBASE. For the past 25 years she has directed contemporary art galleries in Singapore, Beijing, New York, and Indonesia. She has worked with major international institutions, including MoMA, Guggenheim, the Museum of Arts and Design in New York, and Museum MACAN in Indonesia.
