WASIAT examines the duality of Javanese heritage through the lens of Kelompok Semut, a collective of six sculptors from ISI Yogyakarta. Exploring the concept of wasiat, which encompasses both physical heirlooms (pusaka) and ancestral wisdom passed down through generations, the artists use the idea of "home" as an anchor for identity and social commentary. By blending three-dimensional form, material play, and two-dimensional surfaces, the exhibition transforms everyday domestic objects into reflections on personal roots, cultural memory, and contemporary social realities.
