Rising Length of Light is a joint exhibition co-presented by REDBASE Contemporary Art and ARTOTEL Thamrin Jakarta, featuring works by eight emerging contemporary artists from Indonesia and Malaysia. Hosted at the Mezzanine Floor of ARTOTEL Thamrin Jakarta from December 9, 2016, to January 12, 2017, the exhibition showcases Indonesian artists Erizal AS, Hendra 'Blankon' Priyadhani, I Made Widya Diputra (Lampung), Khairul Agustian (Paul), and Riki Antoni alongside Malaysian artists Ismail Awi, Najib Ahmad Bamadhaj, and Shafiq Nordin.

The exhibition reflects a shared commitment to fostering the growth of Southeast Asian contemporary art by championing the next generation of creative talent. Despite their diverse origins and cultural backgrounds, the participating artists are united by a vital artistic drive, expressing their distinct perspectives through dynamic contemporary practices aimed at inspiring peers and engaging the public.
