Indonesian artist duo Robet X Olga consists of artist couple Robet (b. 1988, Ngawi) and Olga (b. 1994, Surakarta). Both holding Master’s degrees in Fine Art Education, they began their spontaneous artistic collaboration in 2013 and later married in 2019, framing their joint art practice as a life calling rooted in daily encounters. Based in Surakarta, the duo has actively participated in prominent national and international exhibitions, including ARTJOG, the Indonesia Art Award at Galeri Nasional Indonesia, and project platforms in Australia.

Working across soft sculpture, soft relief, and spatial installations, Robet X Olga primarily utilizes discarded fabric waste combined with wool, dacron, sponge sheets, and paint. Their choice of medium stems from the intimate presence of textiles in daily life. In works such as Humus, Life and Hope, and Castle of Cattle, they transform tactile, stitched fabric layers into allegorical commentaries on human virtues, generational dynamics, conditional devotion, and social resilience. By blending playful imagination with contemporary socio-cultural issues, their practice elevates simple, everyday experiences into layered visual narratives.
