EVOLUTION merges childhood memory, ecological loss, and kinetic art into a three-dimensional sculpture exhibition that resurrects the rhinoceros beetle (Oryctes rhinoceros), a species fading from reality due to urban concrete expansion. In this exhibition, the artist offers an exploration of form by deforming the beetle's natural anatomy and fusing it with science, technology, and wood-crafted mechanical components like gears, connecting rods, and bolts, engineered to move dynamically. Beyond presenting motion and mechanical aesthetics as core visual elements, the show brings forth a critical commentary on habitat destruction, breathing new life into a lost species at the intersection of organic existence and mechanical survival.
