Osyadha Ramadhana (b. 1997, Malang) completed her degree in Fine Arts at Brawijaya University in 2021. Based in Malang, her contemporary textile and craft practice consistently explores childhood memories, Indonesian folktales, and environmental issues. Her work has been presented at prominent national platforms, including Art Jakarta, Nandur Srawung at Taman Budaya Yogyakarta, and group exhibitions across Jakarta, Bali, Malang, and Surabaya.

Utilizing wax-resist dyeing, natural dyeing techniques, stitching, and textile fiber experimentation, Ramadhana deconstructs the traditional fable of Kancil (The Mouse-deer) as her central allegorical framework. Through intuitive figurative compositions and pigments extracted from plants and rusted iron waste, her practice reconstructs childhood play activities while responding to the loss of natural playgrounds caused by urban development. In her work, the Kancil narrative becomes a critical lens to examine human negotiation, motherhood, and the intergenerational transmission of cultural values.
