Scabulous
Solo Exhibition - 11 September – 11 November, 2021
REDBASE Foundation Indonesia
Imes Paskalia
Scabulous presents a raw, deeply personal exploration of mental health, emotional recovery, and vulnerability by Paskalia Prameswari Wardhani (Imes). Featuring clinical perspectives from her therapist, Dr. Tracie Anne Lazaroo, alongside Imes’s residency works—divided into Fertilization, The Void, The Bargain Compromise, and No-Mindedness—the exhibition parses complex trauma, medication, and psychological turmoil. By channeling intrusive thoughts, personal grievances, and dark humor into art, Scabulous externalizes internal wounds like a protective scab, transforming private healing into a universal dialogue on resilience, empathy, and acceptance
